CONFERENCE BULLETIN BOARD
Do you have news you'd like to share with conference attendees? Maybe you're looking for a mentor - or want to be a mentor. Maybe you're trying to organize a small group gathering during the conference. Or maybe you have a job posting you'd like to share. Whatever it is, put it on the INPCS23 Bulletin Board, located right near the Registration Desk. Index cards, pens/markers, and pushpins provided!
FLASH GROUPS
At INPCS23 you'll have the opportunity to host a Flash Group, which is an impromptu gathering of INPCS23 attendees who share a specific interest. It could be professional, like a specific disease or research area, or it could be personal, like a favorite hobby. The great thing about Flash Groups is that anyone can create one!
Flash Groups will take place in the dining area, and necessary materials will be provided on each table. To create a Flash Group of your own, use the provided marker to write your special interest area on one of the provided Flash Groups table cards. Place table card in the placecard holder in the middle of the table, and wait for new friends with a shared interest to join you! When you all leave the table, please remove and discard the table card from the placecard holder so that the table is ready to host its next Flash Group.
You can also use the provided Flash Group signup sheet to keep a record of everyone who joins. If you’d like to turn your Flash Group into an official group within the INPCS Online Community, please email info@inpcs.org for instructions or come see us at the Registration Desk (and bring your signup sheet).
INPCS COMMITTEE MEET & GREETS
The Committee Meet & Greets are an opportunity for current committee members to gather informally (after so many Zoom meetings!), and for interested potential committee members to meet current members and learn more about the committee and the projects they're working on. No RSVP is required, just show up! For a full schedule, please click here.
PERSONAL COACHING WITH NANCY HARDAWAY
Master Coach and healthcare consultant, INPCS Founding Board Member, and former carepartner Nancy Hardaway will offer complimentary coaching throughout the conference. Bring any type of professional challenge you are working on, large or small. A question about a team? Leadership? Finding balance? Perhaps a career crossroads? A patient communication challenge? A goal you are trying to achieve? Or maybe you are just curious about what coaching has to offer? She will work with you one on one in a totally confidential session. Take advantage of this unique added benefit to your conference attendance - register here for a session! You can learn more about Nancy here.
INPCS LOUNGES
INPCS has two small meeting rooms reserved on the 3rd floor from 8am-5pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you need a place for a small meeting or gathering, or just need somewhere private to make or take a call, please check with the Registration Desk to sign up for one of these rooms.
