Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, registered nurses, and social workers involved in neuropalliative care of patients.


Program Overview

This event is designed for neurologists, palliative medicine providers, geriatricians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other clinicians, as well as patients and their families and caregivers, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families affected by neurological illnesses. This three-day conference features a diverse lineup of top experts, thought leaders, and innovators from around the world, offering unparalleled opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, and professional growth.


Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Apply educational and messaging strategies to improve neuropalliative care interest, learning and behaviors amongst trainees and healthcare providers in practice.
  • Initiate clinical programs and research that address disparities in neuropalliative care.
  • Organize team-based multidisciplinary neuropalliative care clinical programs to meet the needs of patients and families using local resources and meeting local context.
  • Provide a palliative care approach to patients and families living with neurological illnesses.

MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Social Work
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Medical Education Resources is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 9.5 general continuing education credits.
